๐ฐ A Treasure Chest
Hi๐, Vyshnav here
Nice to see you. Last Sunday I took some rest. So this week, I have quite a few things to share.
๐ Bio Links
Inspired by @realvjy, I made my version of the bio link. It's made using Jekyll & deployed on Vercel. You can read the whole thread here.
๐ฆ Blender Projects
This week I worked on three Blender projects. The first one was a low poly planet. The scene was quite complex. There were a lot of trees, houses & other objects.
While working on this project, I made a mistake. I duplicated the trees & houses by pressing "CTRL + D". While doing this operation, the object is duplicated without linking the object data. This means when I apply the materials, I have to do it for each object. This process will take a lot of time.
But there is a simple solution to this problem. Press "ALT + D" for duplicating the object. This will link their object data. Here is the final render.
My second project was pretty easy. This project taught me how to use an Isometric camera in a scene.
The third project was a treasure chest. Creating the model was easy. The hard part was the lighting. But I finally managed to crack it.
โ๏ธ Visuals
This week I experimented by creating a visual related to UI/UX design. I want to teach UI/UX design to others using my visuals. Visuals help you to understand the concept easily. Here's what I have made.
I will be creating more such visuals in the future. I have sketched a few, and I will publish them in the coming days.
Have a great week! ๐ฅณ
